Need More Power Out Of My EZGO Workhorse

probably pretty good advice once again
ordered the drive spring from tom for 23 bucks
and the 28 helix and 3 28 degree slides or dogs from eric
and 4 light yellow led kit from online automotive for 103 bucks now to sit back and wait
and ponder tom has 2 sets of 24x11x12 tires on clearance for 44 bucks apiece....hmmmm just bought new rims and 22x11x12 tires haven't even pulled out of garage yet buttt that is a good deal what if i have so much torque i need bigger tires ?? maybeeee i should buy em and hold onto em jusssst in case

installed the $23 sring in drive clutch
installed the 28 degree hub and pads used #2 stock hole for stock spring made sure to get it twisted far enough for hub to land in correct set of pads and still slow starting pulls stronger thru mid and high but not faster and pedal seems to be useless from bout half way or 3/4 of way ...top end of pedal seems to do nothing like something still holding me back it appears gov on rear end is adjusted all the way . did go to same size tire that is really bout inch smaller so prob losing so top end from there grrrrrr so many variables in all this and not sure what to expect from each ...
is wheelie on take off and 55-60 top end to much to expect?
