What's the Difference Between the EZGO TXT and RXV Models

Can someone tell me what the difference is between the TXT and the RXV models? I am looking to put a lift kit on my RXV and see more kits for the TXT's. Thanks

TXT is the older body style
RXV is the newer style, A/C drive . You have a key that you turn left for reverse and to the right for forward.

Thanks. So if I have an RXV it should be 2008 or newer correct? And the suspension parts are not the same.

The suspension parts are different on the EZGO TXT and RXV models. If you post the manufactures code we can tell you what year it is.

When I’m where the cart is next time I’ll do that. Would the lifts be different from year to year on the rxv’s

I think they're the same but not positive. Wherever you buy the lift from should have whats years it will fit.

Yea i have been seeing that they fit carts between 2008 and 2013. I'm 90% sure ours isn't newer then that

one more question . Will the freedome chip off of a TXT work on a RXV or does the rxv have there own.

No the EZGO RXV is a AC system and doesn't have the chip.

Good to know. So there is no way to change the speed unless you would change the gearing or the motor? I thought the plug jumper that is plugged in under the cup holder was a speed chip.

The plug under the cup holder is a diagnostic port for a scanner.
