Need help with electrical on a 2016 EZGO (Cushman) Shuttle 6

Hi, new here. I'm trying to get the turn signals working on this cart. No add-ons. I am missing the 12+ on the red wire in the glove box that goes to the flasher. I have the manual and the diagram shows a red wire coming off of the fuse block in the engine compartment and going directly to the glove box, but I get nothing. If I run a wire directly from the fuse to the flasher the turn signals work. I've tried tracing out the wire, but very hard to do in the wiring harness.
So my question to someone that knows more than me, could the 12+ be going somewhere else first?
BTW - this is not my cart, trying to do someone a favor.

Did you check the fuse box? They often corrode and won’t pass power even if the fuse is good.

Yes, all good there. I checked to make sure 12+ was actually in the wire after it left the fuse box. I've been all over the cart looking for damage to any wiring or to the wiring harness, no damage found. The wiring diagram in the manual leaves a lot to be desired. It shows all the turn signal connections to the lights but doesn't show the flasher, nor the hour meter.

Yes, all good there. I checked to make sure 12+ was actually in the wire after it left the fuse box.

Then the wire has broken at some point, just run your jumper wire permanently and bypass the existing wire, that would be the easiest way to fix it.
