What's the problem you're having with the stock fuel pump?

I’m tired pumping the choke I think there is a better way to starting it. So I seen on this post someone had installed one. Thought it was a good idea

Electric pump........ Pump ground wire to frame. Pump power wire connect to the solenoid, large terminal that sends voltage to the starter/gen. That way your fuel pump will only operate when the accel pedal is pushed..

I did that but it floods the block with gas. I have to drain the oil for the gas to come out Then put new oil in to start it.

How much fuel pressure does it have? You need a electric fuel pump with 2 lbs of pressure, 2 - 4 PSI maximum. If it's a low pressure pump the needle and seat are sticking or bad or there's dirt in the carburetor.

I had bought the wrong size . 5 to 9 psi pump .
