How to wire cogapa musical horn / Ez-Go electric

Hey Guys wonder if you can help trying to hook up Musical horn to my ezgo electric cart and blew fuse on horn, not sure what i did wrong hooked it up to positive and negative and blew fuse and seems to be to much power for this do I need larger fuse or something. can you help Thanks Mike

cart have six 12 volt batteries just hooked it to neg and positive term like the radio.ya just hooking directly to batteries is their another way I should be hooking it up. is this to much for the musical horn

The cart should have six 6 volt batteries and you would need to hook to two of the batteries that are connected together for 12 volts. Take a volt meter and check the two terminals you used and make sure your getting 12 volts.

yes thank you so much I dont know what I was thinking thankyou again for refreshing my memory I checked with meter and I was using 36 volts got it right now Thanks again
