governor adjusment?

hello i have an old club car carryall 2, my buddy pulled a fast one and adjusted it to go like 5-6 mph at fastest....how do i adjust it to go faster? like its top speed! i believe its like 18 mph...any pictures would be awsome!!! and how quick could i adjust it? is it just like a bolt i turn or what?

More than likely they made a throttle adjustment in the black box. You will need a 10mm wrench and loosen the nuts on the cable and adjust more threads out of the box to take up the slack. Do it till the cart will start and just try to move. And tell your "friends" to keep there hands off your cart. It would be different if you knew what to do.
