EZGO Golf Cart Will Only Run With Choke On

I have a 89 EZGO golf cart that will only run if I have the choke on. Let go of the choke and the engine dies.

sounds like a good carb cleaning would help, blow it out with compressed air and change out the fuel filter also.

Agreed.... Any time your golf cart will only run with the choke pulled out usually happens when the carburetor needs a good cleaning!!

I just had the same exact problem, the jet in the carburetor was clogged. Cleaned that it runs like a champ again.
