1998 EZGO TXT High Pitch Whine Noise

Hi, I have a 1998 EZGO TXT electric golf cart. Just yesterday it started making an extremely high pitch whine noise out of the blue. It makes the noise whether it’s moving or stationary and a starts the second I put it in either forward or reverse. Curious if anyone knows what could be up? The noise is so loud I can barely turn it on in my garage without hurting my ears.

Hmm, thats strange. Its not the reverse alarm is it ? Unplug it and see if it helps. I can't think of anything that would make such a noise when not moving.
