IPC Resistor Assy

I'm confused. Anyone ever see a resistor setup like this get full power (36v) from one end to the other? Accel pedal hits first contact, cart goes full speed.

No breaks in the coils and not shorted out on the case. Pulled unit and tested with 12v, not showing any resistance. 12v in, 12v out. What could I be missing?

Ok well it was doing the same thing before I pulled it out. That's why I thought somethings wrong with the resistors. Never had one act this way before on the lift. Maybe it's all in my head! I'll stick the resistors back in and set on the ground and test. Thanks Diode

Before you put it back put an ohmmeter on it set at a real low scale

Nichrome wire has a resistance of about 90 ohms per foot
That is just general resistance size of The Wire, type of nichrome all make a difference

It was all in my head. :bonk: This is a 90 ezgo, single solenoid. Functioned just fine once on the ground and like you said, under load. Could feel the speed changes. Guess I was expecting it to react on the lift like a Club Car with the 5 solenoids. Where you can here the motor change speed. Thanks again Diode.
