Battery Discharge

2023 Club Car, Onward, 48v. Trojan batteries. Continual problem with batteries discharging while sitting with no use. If it sits for 3 days, volt meter will show only 70% left, I have checked with a volt meter and that is close to correct. If I disconnect main negative lead it maintains charge. It has no added accessories, I bought it new. Any ideas what could be eating the voltage?

Try pulling the fuse for the voltage reducer by the tow switch, that would determine if it is on the accessory side or not. If you leave the run/tow switch in “tow” does it still drain the battery?

Tried it with it in Tow mode and it still discharges. Just took a look, there is no sign of a fuse anywhere in the battery compartment.

Can't really see what you have circled, but there is nothing there as my picture shows.

It would have been helpful if you mentioned you had the HP model. These models have a VCM CAN bus system, you do not want to try to mess with it. Take it to the dealer and use the warranty
