2003 Club Car DS Motor Removal

Removing the motor on a 2003 Club Car DS. Got the 3 7/16 bolts and the one 1/2” out and all wires disconnected. Motor will not slide out. Prayed on the lip behind the band. Motor will spin free but will not come out

They get stuck from rust in the splines, if you are replacing motor just pry hard until it comes off, If you pulling motor for some other repair just work at it till it pops off. I had one that the case finally came off and left the armature still attached, i had to power chisel it off it was so rusted.

Thank you. Finally after beating with a rubber hammer and prying it finally came off. I was sending it to Plum Quick to upgrade it but it may be total loss at this point. I broke one stud off and pieces of the magnet fell out when I finally got it off.

That motor did not want to go to Plum quick
