Lately several things have happened on my 48 v 2004 cart:

1 Yellow dash light is on at end of charge. also on/off occasionally in use.
2 Finding acid beneath cart and on battery frames after charge
3 Speed was increased by computer at purchase but now slowed down.
but increases during use.-never to original speed
4. Charge indicator goes from white to very low green on acceleration.

Load check on betteries show good. Batteries are July 2007

Ideas welcome.

The the low battery light indicating low batteries or bad connections. Sometimes these don't always work well and may give false indications.

Make sure the batteries are not overfilled, 1/4" above the plates is adequate but not over 1/2" above the plates. One bad battery can also cause this.

Sounds like a cable connection problem.

That's normal except that after you are up to speed it should come back up a little.

That's a good sign, who did the load check and when?

I would check all the battery cables by giving them a firm tug then clean them and reinstall making sure they are tight.
Also, using a digital meter, post up the individual battery voltages.

Thanks for the info:
Cleaned and tightened all cable connections. Performance is a little better but still below normal
Also checked tire pressure. I know low tires make a big difference in speed.

The load check was done by a resident neighbor. He was an airline mechanic and has worked on club cars for 20 years as this community has 1500 homes and over 1000 club cars. All cream color incidentally as that is all thats allowed on our golf course.
However he does not have the equipment to program the computer. Could there be a problem there?
