yamaha smoking

I got a older yamaha two stroke that smokes more than me. Other than that it runs great. Any ideas what it could be? thanks in advance for your help

I was told by someone to put on blocks and let it run for awhile and it should burn all the crap out of it. So I did that for like 30 min. it was smoking so bad the guy from the fire station came over because he thought there was a fire so had to stop. Anyone now of another way to findout what this problem would be

I'd start with doing a compression test. Are you mixing the oil and gas or using the pump on the cart for the oil?

just using the pump to mix the oil. Do you think it might be something to do with the injector adding to much oil?

It's possible but I doubt it. I'd lean more toward compression and bad rings. Do a compression test and post your results and we'll go from there.
