Yamaha GOVERNOR Adjustment Question?

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME. MY PARENT HAVE A FREIND, THAT WANTS ME TO REMOVE THE GOVERNOR FROM HIS GAS YAMAHA.

Yammy's hold up very well with the gov. tied back. Just advise your folks not to run it WOT for extended periods.

were is it located,

On the top of the transmission. There is a 10mm nut on the ground speed linkage. I would tighten it all the way 1st and see if that appeases the folks..
