Yamaha G29 Solenoid Replacement Issues

Trying to install a mzj 400a solenoid on a Yamaha G29. Cart has 2 ga cables and D&D motor but still stock controller. Everything was working fine until the factory solenoid replacement. Now I can’t get a click on the old or new solenoid when I flip the run/tow switch and the cart is dead. I had the cart in tow while working on it, but I did get a spark when I reconnected the battery pack wire to the solenoid. I removed the reverse buzzer, but I put the cart in run with the key on and did not get any resistance. I also checked the 3 amp fuse and it appeared to be good. Any other ideas or does it sound like I fried the controller?

Also, I have 50.5 volts through the big terminals to the controller of the solenoid. 0.0 volts on the small terminals even after pushing the pedal
