Yamaha G16 Runs But Won't Move

New to site, 1st golf cart and need info for a 99 Yamaha G16

The golf cart runs but won't move. The drive belt just spins.

Need more info does the driven clutch grab the drive belt at all? does the cart try to move in forward or reverse?

Thanks for the reply. It will go foward and reverse but very slow. I got a new belt today but it's still barely moving. I'm going to change the spark plug and fuel filter, it seems like it has a miss

Is it really running or just spinning up via the starter? BE CAREFUL touch the exhaust and see if it is at least warm or hot to see if its firing.
