On my Yamaha G19E electric golf cart the solenoid doesn't engage or activate. I've checked the forward and reverse switch, key switch, stop switch, fuse is good, I do hear the buzzer in reverse! Im thinking controller bad! Any ideas? Thanks for any help!

The solenoid sends the power to the controller, if it's not working the controller can't work.
Check the microswitch in the throttle.

It was the stop switch I was thinking about (brown and red/white wires), sorry for the confusion.
Try a 6ga jumper across the large posts on the solenoid, if the cart moves, check for control voltage on the small posts. If there is voltage at the small posts and the cart moves with the jumper, replace the solenoid.

When I run a ground wire from the middle batteries neg post and touch it to the neg side of solenoid it engages and cart will move! I think the controller isn't grounding the solenoid!
