yamaha 94 g9 issues

I have a 94 g9 i have lifted it and put larger tires on it it has been running gtood until yesterday when u let off of the gas pedal it starts to hop a little ( like you are pumping the brakes) if i stop and take off again it starts to drive fine. It is the original motor what could be the issue or possible issues?

It sounds like a clutch problem. Try jacking the back tires of the ground and run the cart to see if the clutches are working like they should. The belt should travel smoothly up and down in the clucthes when accelerating and slowing down.
