World speed record?

Hey, im new to the forum, so be easy on me here

My most recent project has given me the itch and i think i want to chase the world record now! My current cart has a 350cc yamaha warrior motor in it, havent tested it yet (or completed it) but im shooting for 80mph...Its just something i threw together in the past 2 weeks, so its nothing too special. Now on to the exciting part...My buddy has a wrecked suzuki 1000cc turbo bike, and im going to buy the motor off of him and put it in a cart. This one will be stretched around 20" and about 2" off the ground. Still working on the design, but my main questions is: What is the current speed record?

Thats rollin' for sure!! has anyone run them 1/4 mile? my goal is to run 150mph, but it will most likely take a mile to get there. Im currently searching for a good set of wheel bearings that i will trust at thoes speeds. The frontend will be Jr. dragster spindles with hyd brakes on all 4 corners... Im working my way front to back trying to gather my thoughts. Any advice is welcome!!

What you doing with that one? Im guessing your putting it in a cart?

What kind of 4 wheeler are you putting it in? my buddy has a banshee with an old air cooled kaw. 900cc motor in it. Its pushing 200hp and its a real handfull to ride!!! Lotsa fun tho!!!

Its going in a DS650 chassis, fabing it into the frame today as a matter of fact. Its putting out about 130rwhp stock, with a minimal amount of work it will put out 175rwhp. And if I can still handle that, maybe a turbo kit.

I've had mine to 115MPH that I was sure of, it had plenty left in it I just didn't want to try it, at the time we were on a public hwy. My best in the 1/8th mile is [email protected]. My engine is a bone stock 2004 Honda 1000RR, even stock exhaust. If I install a Power Commander and some better exhaust it could go faster and have more than the 152 HP it has now. Krazy Karts electric cart has beat me just about every time we have ran the 1/8th mile, but no gas cart has come close.

My '06 R1 advertised at 172hp, but throw it on a dyno, its 135rwhp.. I can't wait to see what this quad will do. My Workhorse needs one of these.. Right Rifter?

At the Samsula Dirt Drags there was a 4wheeler with a 600RR engine that was quite wicked, he had his hands full under full throttle. I can't imagine what the R1 will be like, hang on tight WalkinTall.
