Hello Folks

I am working on a 1986 clubcar model a8633106982 this is a 36 v electric car I bought it for my mother who can not get around well. First off i am no expert but am working on this cart for a few weeks now The previous owner stripped the wiring and batteries so I have been wiring and testing solenoids and switches and replaced the ones that were bad and i grabbed a diagram of the club car i found I find it doe not show the wiring to the motor or the forward/ reverse switch very well so I am having issues finding my way to wiring this. anyway can anyone straighten me out on the cables from s1 to ? s2 to ? a1 to ? a2 to ? and the forward reverse and the solenoids 5 in all. Thanks for reading a picture of someones cart or a wiring diagram a little specific would be wonderful for me and a very grateful 76 year old woman

Thanks

try this

from vintage

were it says to use a jumper is for a newer switch, your will have S1 conected to the bottom left side of the switch, your switch has 2 stationary conection on the switch base and 2 moving ones on the selector plate, should your be the same as in the diagram, then just do what it shows

Hope this helps

It helps a little but I was hoping for a little more info this cart had no wiring when i got it so not sure where the switch and motor wires go. Also I have reason to believe the motor is not original it has 4 post
