i have a 199 ezgo txt golf cart. It' like the wheels are spinning on the inside but not on the outside. Does it have gears or transmistion.

it has gears I do believe. are there any noises (grinding, crunching) coming from the rear end?

Check the rear hubs and see if the axle is spinning. You probably have a stripped rear hub.
