Wire size

Purchased a set of 4 gauge wires. The gauge wire I took off was 6. They look like the same size. I guess you would have to measure it to tell. Or maybe the wire strands are large.

The strand size on the 6ga should be 0.162" (Larger than 1/8"), 4ga is 0.204" (Smaller than 1/4")
