windshield rattle

My windshield rattled like h$$l when I was not on smooth pavment. Went to hardware store and purchased 1/4 " wide insulation tape with adhesive on 1 side. Removed windshield. installed tape in grooves on frame, made minor adjustments for retaining clips. VIOLA!! No more rattle.

Thanks for the tip. What adjustments did you have to make to the retaining clips?

Had to cut insulation tape width of clips. Could not get clips on without rolling up tape.
