Which controller??

I have an EZ Go 36 volt Marathon with 2 1/2 HP series wound GE motor now using a Curtis 1204 controller. To upgrade I plan to add 2 batteries and heavier cables. What controller do I need to handle the 48 volts? Will a Curtis 1204 for 48 volt Club Car work? Thanks

I don't think so as EZ-Go's and Club Cars use different throttle inputs to control speed.

I would recommend an Alltrax AXE 4844 Programmable Controller. I have had mine for a few years now. Bulletproof.
