Wheel Size

I have just purchased an '02 IQ cart for my wife's use at our farm due to her limited walking stamina. She will be using it 'off road' in orchard and pasture. I was considering installing somewhat larger wheels and tires for additional ground clearance. I don't believe that our terrain is rough enough to justify retro-fitting lift kits. My question is this: does increasing the tire size on this cart have any negative issues? Will it cause significant added strain on the power train or battery life? I had in mind a knobby tread design. Can a larger tire be used on the stock wheels? What size might I consider? Any suggestions would be appreciated

thiggy,
Welcome!
The problem you're going to run into without a lift is that you can't run any larger tire than 20x8" and they'll rub a little if they're knobby.
