I just bought a used golfcart and need to know what year it is so I can buy some parts. Here are the numbers from the inspection plate:
Serial Number: 1320341
Other Number: K300
EZGO/Textron

Any help would be most appreciated.

Your cart is a 2000. Does it have a toggle switch on the controller cover under the passenger seat? Where is the F/R control located?

I am new to the forum and I have a question about the year of our cart that we just purchased. There is no serial plate located around the glove box area. It has a plate under the seat with the numbers : C24 1088 2143R . It also states Classic Golf Carts, Boca Raton, Florida. On the front of the golf cart where the EZ-Go logo should be it says re-manufactured by Classic. The front end is square like and looks kind of like an older model car. It has headlights and tail lights. The previous owner wasnt sure of the age but thought it may be a mid 80's model. I have picture but am unsure how to upload it on this site. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

my email address is: [email protected]

It does have a toggle switch on the controller and the Forward/Reverse switch is on the dash. Thanks for the help, this is an awesome resource.

Hayhead, your cart is a 2000 PDS system TXT. It's speed can be altered via a $10 (or less) so called "speed chip" on the controller.

Looks like somebody knows what they are talking about, so here is the problem I have.
I just purchased an EZ GO from someone who said he thought it was an 85 model with a 48 volt system (there are no batteries in the cart) but the charger he gave me is a 36 volt. The ser. # is 502204 and the Mfg. code is K2188. Can anyone give me some insight so I wil know what parts to look for. Thanks
