I'm looking for a lifted golf cart and need to get a trailer to pull it as well. Will it fit on a 5x8 trailer? What size trailer would you guys suggest?

Thanks for any help.

8' long is a really tight fit and you may not be able to close the tailgate. IMO, a 10' long trailer is better choice.

OK guess I'll have to go with 10' trailer to pull the golf cart. I was going to use that extra $300 on the cart we are looking to buy. Oh well. Maybe I'll be able to talk the guy down for the trailer and the golf cart. Wish me luck. First time buying a golf cart. Anything paticular to look for when looking at a used one from a private seller. Plan on taking it by a shop to have it looked over. Anything I should buy like a multimeter, ect right away? Thanks again for the help.

My neighbor bought a 5x10 last fall for a Ranger. The trailer is too small so he is now looking for a 6x12. Moral of the story is do not buy too small. 6x 12 trailer will also work for lawn mowers and smaller tractors that we seem to be hauling around also.

I saw a 5'x9' the other day at Lowes. Had not seen that size before so I asked the sales guy why 5'x9'? He said it's for hauling a golf cart! "duh"
