Westmont golf cart 4 cylinder?

so a guy called today and wanted to know if i would stop by and look to see if i could get the thing running.
this thing is a tank. just take a minute and look at what and how they stuffed 4 cylinders into this thing, i can understand why it was only made for a few yrs.

That's the first time I've seen one of those. I had heard of them but never saw one.

yes, got it going. after looking at it for a bit i figured out the engine was a Continental, a very common engine in forklifts and boats in the late fifty's. the points were bad and i even had a new set in the truck

its the most over engineered thing i have seen in a long time. kinda
