Welding With Solder

Is it possible to weld with one of those solderers that plumbers use because it looks easy to make pretty solder lines. And plus theres no blinding light or electrocution involved oh and its cheap. I was just wondering. Will it weld a roll cage?

This link talks about what I was saying but Im not sure if brazing is what I mean? Read down where it says when at 3,000 degrees it can braze metals like mild steel aka roll cage and custom front a-arm suspension! Or is there a catch?

NO, You cannot solder or even braze anything structual.

Keep saving for the mig from the other thread.

Or, if Ya want cheap, You can hook up with Gary and make it all out of wood, the Flintstones did it.

soldering is ONLY for very delicate things or for wires...u would be better off with JB wled than soldering.....i guess if u wanted it JUST for looks..and you used enough JB weld it will hold.....

LMAO! That must be the secret to making pretty welds. Slap a whole bunch of jb weld on your joints then melt some sauder over it for looks and wala. Beutiful "tig" welds :)
