VIN Plate Missing

I recently purchased an '02 Ez-Go Workhorse from a repossesion agency when they were liquidating their storage lot in order to recoup some of their fees. The problem I now notice after the fact is that the VIN plate is missing from inside the cubby on the passenger side. Now i want to be sure I do not run into any issues with the cart, but if this was a repo unit, they had to be sure the cart was the correct one I would assume. What is the best way to find out what the VIN number actually is to this cart? Also is there any way to get a replacement? Or does someone have a good plate off of a trashed cart I can purchase?

Take a look under the seat on the frame rails there may be a tag there.

Not seeing anything there at all, not even the remnants of one. Are there any places the number may be on the engine or drivetrain parts?
