Valve train not moving

Hi all, thanks for your help in advance. I have an 01? ClubCar with the Kawasaki OHV motor. My wife was driving it and it stopped. I checked fuel, spark and had good compression. I pulled the valve cover and when it cranks the valves are not moving. Do these have timing chains? If so is there a special puller for the clutch? Please any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

no timing chains, gear on gear { one plastic & one metal }
yes there is a special puller for the clutch avail. from dealers &
most aftermarket suppliers.

Thanks, is this a common issue? I think its and 2001-02.

no not a common problem, but usually a result of POOR maintainance

I got the motor pulled and the clutch off. The camshaft gear is shot. missing teeth and almost looks melted in spots. Is there a place to get used parts?

You can try posting a ad here in the wanted forum. If your in a hurry I'd say your best bet would be a Club Car dealer.
