Upgrading to Powerwise Battery Charger

I Have a 36 volt Powerwise Battery Charger and need information on Upgrading my golf cart to make this charger work.

1. Does anybody know how to hookup an onboard 36 volt Powerwise battery charger to a 1990 EZGO Marathon golf cart?

2. I have both sides of the plug and can replace the existing receptacle. If I bypass the reed switch should the charger work?

3. What would be the minimum voltage for the charger to switch on.

I was starting to think that my question was crazy.

I charged up my batteries two at a time with my car charger and was able to get up to 31 volts. Then I hooked up my Powerwise Charger an it......... worked!

I'll charge it up for a few hours and see if the cart runs. Keep your fingers crossed.

After charging batteries for four hours, my cart now runs great. I would have never figured it out without Cartaholics Golf Cart Forum. Thanks for those who ask and answer all these questions. :hattip:
