Turns over but wont start

I have a 95 EZ Go with 295 robbins, cart will not run, not even on starting fluid. Have good spark, valves have been adjusted .004 cleaned carb. Seems to be pushing gas out of carb, not sucking in?
Anyone got any other things I can try?

have you checked the compression? anything under 150lbs needs to be looked at. did it run at one time or did you buy it not running.

Bought it not running, I havent checked compression but I will today. Thanks

may also be a timing problem but lets see how it comes out, make sure you test it with the throttle all the way open.

this may be hard to believe but i had my starter repaired and placed the cables on the wrong post on the starter and it turned the engine backwards and caused the same problem. just something you may want to check since it was not running when you got it.
