turn on switch, starter kicks in

new guy with a golf cart. I changed out the solenoid and I re-connected all the cables as they were. When I turned the switch on to start, the starter kicked in without using the accelerator!!!! What did or didn't I do??????

eith the solenoid or its microswitch are stuck on..............try tapping the solenoid see if that does anything.............................

in the black box there are 2 micro switches 1 of them is for the solenoid so you need to see if its good and if so replace solenoid....................................
