Trust Charge Indicator?

EZGO Freedom RXV - "new to me" came with the home purchase (suspected "might be a reason"?)

Water in all cells, all batteries.
4 X 12v Trojan 1275 - Plus (unsure of age)
Battery Charger indicates full charge
Battery load test performed, all good...

Turn key "on" charge indicator on dash 100% charged

In Forward, cart runs great for about 30 seconds, then Battery Charge Indicator drops to E / "0" and warning light comes on.

Feels like cart accelerates strong, then governor levels off speed.

Cart still runs...

Pull over and stop... turn key "OFF" for a few seconds, turn on, needle goes back to indicate "full charge"?

Thoughts? solutions?

Just to "close the loop" (pun intended)... cleaned the terminals, swapped out wires for new, all cleaned up...and runs like it needs a speeding ticket!

Many thanks for the tip...
