Troubleshooting electronic problems on a EZGO gas golf cart without substituting new good parts for a possible defective installed part. When isolating a problem in a gas engine does anyone still do troubleshooting with a test bench apparatus?

What brand of Test Bench is available to checkout an Ignitor, ignition coil pulser coil, solenoid or voltage regulator.

These sealed units are sometimes a bummer.

you could always use the good old ohm meter or a mutlimeter. I prefer my POWER PROBE III. Its a test light that has the ability to power up individual components.

Thank you for mentioning the use of a Multimeter.

As I progressed beyond your reply, I found the Cart Doctor had a posted a topic thread titled "Solenoid Testing" over at buggiesunltd. Now to find out how to test the coils and ignitors.
