Trouble Starting a 1998 Yamaha G16 Golf Cart

Hey guys,
I am planning on doing a little work on my Yamaha G16 golf cart. The biggest problem I have right now is the golf cart has a little trouble starting but once it gets going it runs fine, just wondering if anyone has a fix to this. I am going to change the filters, belts and spark plug anyway to see if that fixes it. If not maybe the carburetor?

Also i bought a light kit for it and im hoping that goes over well. Im gonna have a few more questions in the next couple days. Stay on your toes!

Hi Mike96 and welcome to the forum.

I would start by doing the things you mentioned. If that doesn't fix it we'll go from there. If you have any questions ask away and someone will be here to help out.

Ok, new air filter, fuel filter, clean carb ( i didnt take it apart or anything, just sprayed some carb cleaner) new spark plug. Definetly starts better but still not 100%. After its warm it seems to run good though and start good. Any suggestions?

The only way to get the carb clean is take it apart. It could be other things also. When's the last time the valves were adjusted?
