Traction Control

I have an 89 Marathon that is used offroad 90% of the time and would like a limited slip or posi traction rear and I really don't want to weld the spider gears making it a true posi. Can anyone tell me if the rear from a newer cart has the same mount for the motor. I'm not conserned about the spring and shock mounts because they would be removed to make way for a custom 4 link with coil over suspension. Or does anyone know of a place I can get traction control for a Marathon? Thanks for any input. Jim

Does your motor aim front to rear or left to right? If it's left to right the motor will work on a newer rear end...

Thanks HR. My motor is left to right. So I guess i"m looking for a new rearend. Since my cart is an 89 I guess I guess that I could call this an 18 year old itch; So that's legal right?

It really stinks that the Marathon guys have to fabricate just about anything that is a mass produced part for the newer carts

I've always liked the Marathons to. I've had a few and they were all good carts...

fleck,

There's a new E-Z-GO electric rear end in the for sale forum here. Just thought I'd let you know...
