Just bought an 86 EZGO with engine out an apart. Took to shop to have upper end rebuilt but missing what I call a spacer on either end of wrist pin that keeps needle bearing centered. any idea where I can find a replacement

I kinda doubt you'll be able to find them, but you never know. I will say that I have rebuilt a lot of these 2 strokes and over the years I've had four of the 2PG motors like your that had the 3PG piston in them. The 3PG doesn't use the "spacers" and will not fit in the 3PG piston. I explained to the owners about the missing parts and running the wrong piston. They all wanted to try it without the spacers since we couldn't find any. As far as I know they are all still running.
