I need new tires and am still debating a lift or wait a year. If I stay stock with (I think this size) 18 x 8.50 x 8 tires now can I get 18 x 9.5 x 8 without rubbing. I do plan on keeping my stock rims. Or with the stock 8" rims how far can you go with tire size before it gets in trouble. I am evening considering a small rear axle block (1-2") in the for a little height

Height wise you can usually get away with 20" tall. The width may cause a problem without offset wheels.
