I have 1991 non-lifted Marathon I use for street driving only. Tires are 205-50-10 had Golf Pro tires which lasted less than a year. Just got new Kendra Pro Tour and want to inflate properly (think I may have over inflated old ones...they all wore out in the center..not on the edges)
Any recomedatins for preasure for street driving ???? only indication on tire is Max 30PSI.

Also when removing the old tires I notice some leaking coming from the large gear housing on the cente of the rear axel. (ot dripping but you canjust see where te axel looks damp. How do I check the fluid and what and how do I add fluid if needed??

Thanks for your advise.....PITT

What brand were the old tires? Did all 4 wear out or just the front? How wide are your rims?

For street use I always try to run as close the the tires maximimum PSI stated on the tires sidewall.

I believe the old ones were exel golf pro.....rims are standard width........tires wore out quicker on front ...but then I rotated them.......... thought I may have had an allighnment problem....
changed the angle a bit but didn't seem to help on the wear...guess I'll inflate to the 30 psi and see how the new ones wear....

Any thoughts on the gear box fluid ???

Make sure the toe in is set at around 1/8".

To check the rear end theres a plug on the pan. With the cart on level ground pull the plug, if oil runs out it's full. If nothing comes out either fill it until it does and replace the plug or pull the pan off and change the oil with fresh 30 weight.
