Throttle

Hi I have a problem with throttle and I will describe it as best as possible. I have a workhorse 1200. The gas pedal goes to the governor then the governor goes to couple other pivot things. Then it goes to the the one that makes the engine rev. But when I press the gas pedal it doesn't rev. All it does is turns but doesnt catch. Can someone tell me why it does that. I think somethings wrong with the cable. It doesn't pull the rev down all the time. It only does it some times.

Does the carb open and close all the way when you press the gas pedal? It sounds like the engine isnt starting when you have this problem and running on the starter generator.

It's all right I figured it out. I replaced the last wire with one new wire and took the out some pieces but now works fine.
