Testing Golf Cart Batteries Voltage?

Just pick up my first golf cart. 2007 EZGO TXT PDS with original batteries. I brought it home and put it on the charger for about 14hrs until fully charged. Unhooked the charger and about 4hrs later and decided to do some battery testing. I tested each batteries voltage and from first to last I and these are my results, 6.25, 6.17, 6.18, 6.24, 6.21, 6.27 and total pack voltage of 37.32. Just wondering if these numbers are too low, any help would be great.
Also, I checked the water and all are full, but I am getting some water on top of a few batteries. Is this normal or not?

Thanks again for any help.

Welcome to the forum...

Was the cart sitting without being used for 4 hours before you did the test? If so the numbers are a little low. If the cart hasn't been used in a while the numbers may come up a little after a few charge cycles. Seeing how it took 14 hours to charge I'm taking it the batteries were run down very low or the cart hasn't been used or charged in a while.

Thanks, looks like a pretty cool site.

No I didn't run the cart after the charge was complete. The cart was a lease turn in, so it's pretty hard to say when the last full charge was put on it. With those numbers should I be worried about them anytime soon?

I wouldn't worry yet. Make sure they don't need water. Use the cart a couple weeks and run it through a few charge cycles then test them again about 1 hour after a full charge and post your numbers.

Thanks for the compliment on the forum...
