Can you use Synthetic oil to mix on a Ezgo 2 stroke cart its a robin engine model EC25DS 244 cc and if so what would the oil/gas ratio be? Or is it better to use reg 2 cycle oil?

if you mix the oil and gas your good, i wouldn't use synthetic in the older oil injectors. 40:1 should be fine

Thanks Nubs I appreciate the feedback.
Can you believe one site said 216 : 1 ratio. I knew that couldn't be right. The previous owner said he thought it was 32:1 but wasn't sure.

well 32:1 is a safe number for a lower grade oil but the synthetic is much more efficient

Nubs,

Here is what EZGO emailed me:

Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting organization. The fuel/oil ratio for the E-Z-GO
244cc two-cycle is
128 - 1. Other words, one ounce of two-cycle oil mixed with 128 ounces
of gasoline. Please remember this is formatted for a governed engine.

Your car should be a 1979 per information below and manuals can be
obtained through www.shopezgo.com.

Regards,

E-Z-GO textron

So that would be 1oz per gallon, right?
