small wiring on ezgo elec

Hi I bought elec ezgo with wreck on left front and guess it was going to be parted out or at least had a start in that direction. FR switch was gone and the key ignition gone. Have fr switch but unable to find ignition switch. Don t know what small wires are missing, I need a lot of help with the wiring. It is a 2002. Thanks for being here. Used one sponser and continue to use sponsers to thank for their support. Gjoofy

Got most of wiring done. Replaced micro sw in pedal box and green wire is+ and when test red wire with bwrg cable not connected ms closes and red to selenoid becomes +. When I connect the 4 wire(bwrg) cable and depress pedal da fire she fly. I tested selenoid with no wires attached and heard it close and have continuityof large posts. But when I connect neg to small post other small post becomes neg also, which I would guess has something to do with da fire when I depress ye ole pedal Don t know much about Reed sw, but guess it is to make a one way wire. Didn t understand your disortation on testing r sw. Removed and no continiuty of red and white wires and had not been getting any current thru red wire to msw. To make da fire I connected long red to big white. Mighty sad mighty sad here in Tx. gj

If I wanted to check and see if the reed switch had failed and was causing my cart not to work, I would connect a similar sized piece of wire between the terminal marked "A(+ pos)" and "Reed circuit connector". If the cart then runs, the reed switch is defective.
