I am new to this so I hope i am doing this right I have been told that you can match a automobile shock to a stock club car shock and or stronger and you do not need heavy duty springs if you have a rear seat thanks

The automotive shocks can make the suspension stiffer but won't effect how much weight the cart can haul before bottoming out the suspension. If you plan on hauling two adults on the rear seat the heavy duty springs are the way to go.
