Went down there to buy the fish tv one[cabelas is 16 miles from me too damn close]. While i was looking them over a guy i know that works there came up and said i have this one a cabelas advanced angler made by marcum that comes with a case and the 12 batt, and charger. For 20 bucks more then the fish tv i got the acc. i was looking for to boot so i bought that one. Let you know how it works when i get her in the water. Dam walleyes better look out this year.

They stock the lakes every spring and fall for about the last 15 years. There was a lot of bass, crappie, bluegill, catfish etc. in the lakes before they developed the land. I use to go out there and fish and 4-wheel back in the late 70's and early 80's and the fishing was good then. With the stocking they've added walleye, musky, rainbow trout and a assortment of hybrid sunfish and bait fish.

Yes the lakes are private. The HOA and fishing club pays for the stocking. We have a fishing club that does a wonderful job. They take their recommendations on fish and other stuff to the board of directors. The club also does fund raisers and other things to help raise money. I was the president of the fishing club for 2 years but just didn't have the time to do everything. I'm still a member of the club but don't make it to many meetings anymore.

I hope you and Carol make the trip up here. We have plenty of room and carts. Spring and fall are the best times for fishing here. The summer months are hit or miss on the fishing but we can always fall back on some old fashion partying...

Well the park model is all winterized
I left one of my carts out there and plan on going out there once a month or so during the winter. We sold the pontoon boat and I'm looking for another one. I bought seven carts last week so I'll be making a few trips in a couple days to bring them home and get them ready to sell next year...
