Never did see a fishing report, I'll give you mine final count 64 walleyes, 256 pearch, 8 smallies all are free as they are not as tastee as other 2 spiecies, 8 trophy freshwater drum many smaller ones, number of cats, and several gobies. 1 turtle, 63 frogs, 2 snakes grilled never frozen.
How do you winterize you place or do you just heat in the winter?
I didn't do as much fishing as I hoped to. I did catch quite a few walleye, 22" and a 20" were the biggest. Several rainbow trout around 2 lbs. My biggest LM Bass this year was about 4 lbs. Normally I get at least one 6+ pound bass every year. The big bass, walleye and crappie are hitting now and I'll be out there this weekend trying hook a big one.
I winterize it around the end of November. I shut the water off, drain the pipes and put RV anti-freeze in the system just to be safe. We don't go out there much during the winter months or I would leave the water and heat on. I do have heat tape on all the exposed plumbing and have the trailer setup for year round use.
I do but spend alot of time on the water. Lake Erie is a good fishing hole. I don't go as far out as many people but fish where I have always caught fish.
Sounds like you do what I do but I just blow lines out and put af in the drains, never have had a problem.
Lake Erie walleye capital of the world. I fish it a lot, i can leave home and be on the water in 45 minutes. It will spoil you for in land fishing. It sure is fun when they are on the bite and you limit out in an hour or so.
