Shadow Lakes Fishing

Went out to Shadow Lakes Friday and Saturday and did some fishing. The Largemouth Bass are biting everywhere. Friday at around sunset I caught 10+ fish (all LM bass) with the biggest being 5 1/2 pounds. Saturday morning I did very good. I lost count on how many fish I caught but the biggest was 7 pounds. Quite a few fish in the 2-4 pound range. I got one 4 pound walleye and a 2 pound rainbow trout. All the bass were released. The walleye and trout are dinner tonight...

yum yum,,2 lb bass make me hungry..sounds like you had a good time..anytime the fish are biteing its a good time tho.
and a 7 lb,er..thats real cool..i never catch more than a 5 or 6 lb,er around my river but they are there..ive seen some so big id think they could be the record..but they got that big for a reason i guess..

My biggest largemouth bass since we've had our place at Shadow Lakes is 7 1/2 pounds. That was a 3-4 years ago about this time of year. The spring bass fishing is great out there.

I did some more fishing Friday evening in a light drizzle and caught some nice largemouth bass and a few nice crappies. Went back out Saturday with the camera and only caught a couple small bass.

I quit bringing a camera with me when I go fishing. I get skunked every time I bring one.

I haven't fished for a couple weeks. We had a cold front two weeks ago then rain for about 4-5 days in a row. I'm hoping to do some fishing this weekend...

hope you have a fine fishing trip hrc..it seems true for me about the camera also..everytime i bring it its not a good fish catching day,but when i leave it and catch a few good ones i wished id had brought it,john
