Runs by itself

At work I have a Marathon 91 model that an employee says runs by itself(key on). Can this happen and if so where do I look first. I have had someone else drive this cart for several days with no problem.Is someone pulling my leg?

Anyone have any ideas? Can something be shorted out and cause this cart to move on it's own?

I have seen this before I wish I had a idea but if I remember right the throttle switch shorted out but I think it was a old club car cant remember nevermind dont qoute memory is bad

Just some guesses: solenoid welded shut.....wired wrong.....accelerator is stuck......

I'm thinking that it may be something with the accelerator too. We have summer staff of teens that think they can off road with these things. I need to look underneath real good, maybe something is stuck or covered with dirt or trash.I was orig. thinking throttle switch but it does not do it all the time.Thanks for the help, give me somewhere to start.
